This is an original design of mine, made out of sheet plastic.
The finished car deviates a little from my sketch. Sometimes I go in a different direction.

I built the engine from scratch. The block is formed with plastic square tubes and sheets,
the oil pan and bell housing is shaped out of clay.

The blower and valve covers are from after market parts.

The basic structure of the car is formed.

Here I start deviating from my sketch.

I originally intended this to be a roadster. I went looking in my parts bin for a windshield
and came across a Chevy coupe window insert. I was going to cut out the windshield but noticed
that the whole thing fit fairly neatly on the car, so I decided to use the whole thing.

I made the instrument cluster from round plastic tubes.
