I took a perfectly good 39 Chevy coupe and decided to make it a beaten up, rusted rat. Here I drew on it where I would take a torch and burn it and chop the roof. The yellow you'll see on the body is where I put flame decals on. But I put so much rust and dirt paint over it, you can barely see it. I wanted to put a Mexican blanket over the seat, but this model came with modern bucket seats, so I made a bench seat out of sheet plastic. I was going to just glue colorful threads over the seat, but my wife offered to crochet a mini blanket. It came out pretty cool. I altered the engine that came with the kit by making my own blower, fan belt and carb intakes. The exhaust pipes are speaker wires and the collector is a plastic straw.
